Product

Princz Plast, our line of plasticizers, adds a new dimension in improving PVC compounds. From special processes of vegetable oils, we generate a complete performance in compatibility and stability.

Vegetable plasticizers have been marketed for three decades. Early products were deficient due to their high residual iodine value. They have been designed as a substitute for primary plasticizers, just as phthalics in their various forms, for example DOP.

It was found that a value corresponding to the content of unsaturated fatty acids was necessary to achieve 95% compatibility. It was also found that determining percentages of unsaturated fatty acids ensured an absolute compatibility correlation in PVC compounds.

Princz Plast, Our Line of Plasticizers:

  • It has been accepted as a standard development tool in the industry, leading to reduced costs and improved performance in heat and light stability. No other additive has such universal acceptance for all types of PVC compounds.

  • It is used as the most effective known synergizing agent to stabilize metal compounds in the vinyl system. At the same time, it works as a tested polymer-type plasticizer by adding flexibility, delayed volatilization, moisture migration and dewatering.

  • It has a half-life of 2 years when stored in the original packaging under regular conditions of room temperature and humidity.

  • If the material is packed in containers at temperatures below 20 °C (68 ºF) for a long time, it requires warming, under 54 °C (129.2 ºF), for a long time, so that its quality and stability shall not be affected.
